Thierry and Laure Normand specialize in 19th-20th century European
paintings and drawings. They are particularly devoted to aiding their
clientele to discover relatively little-known masters of this period.
Although some of these artists are today nearly forgotten—victims
of changing tastes and fashions—they often enjoyed considerable acclaim
in their own time.
Thus far, the Galerie Normand has hosted three important exhibitions,
each focused upon an individual artist: Theodore Rousseau
(2002), Paul Huet (2003) and Louis-Adolphe Hervier
(2004).
Opened in October 2001, the Galerie Normand counts major museums and
private collectors among its clients.
